Purpose: He/she will achieve this mission by: • Driving, guiding and supporting Leads in the planning and execution of the respective workstreams and initiatives • Communicating project risks, recommending future actions, escalating decision points, and obtaining strategic direction from Sponsor(s) and Global interfaces. • Establishing credibility with Leads and Sponsors (e.g. can be trusted for an accurate snapshot of where things stand)
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning • Drive and guide Leads by creating and sharing a systematic and integrated view of selected work-streams (set the baseline: set work-stream objectives, role, define KPIs) • Understand and identify interdependencies, across markets/functions, to enable effective measurement of portfolio risk and progress against baseline, prioritization, and focus • Ensure objectives are aligned with the strategic direction of the One Asia Pacific project
Project Management / Support / Communications • Coordinate and manage prioritization processes across markets/functions for each workstreams development • Provides content expertise, active process management and integrated problem-solving support (define, structure the problem, prioritize, develop the issues, analyse, synthesize findings, and develop recommendations) • Proactively recommend and/or lobby for additional support with Leads and Sponsors to facilitate work-stream development when necessary • Keep the transformation on track by actively monitoring completion of necessary deliverables (e.g. enforces deadlines and ensures compliance) with work-stream Leads • Translates implications of progress into outcomes and demands for Leads and Sponsors (e.g., knows who is on track, ahead of the game, or falling behind and understands what has to happen for the transformation to stay on track) • Facilitate and guide the overall work-stream life-cycle from start to finish • Act as liaison and communication bridge across the organization to build alignment on workstream direction and priorities, and to manage cross-work-stream interdependences • Provide Leads, Sponsors and Global interfaces with regular updates on work-stream progress (objective perspectives, priorities and directions) while managing their expectations • Identifies and co-develops people solutions with Leads and Sponsors to organizational complexities/conflicts that stifle cross-cutting work-stream(s)
Requisite Skills, Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree or above (MBA or other business-related qualification preferred) • 10-12 years of general business experience
• Strong track record in cross functional/market level project management with leading consumer brands or consulting firms • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time • Experience with initiatives/project tracking (e.g. knowledge of utilizing tracking tools) • Experience with synthesizing large amounts of data into updates that are easy to digest • Broad understanding of business value drivers and operations • Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) and experience with problem- solving tools (e.g. logic trees, storylines, quantitative models) • Strong communication skills – written and spoken English
